How To Block Unwanted Calls

Blocking Unwanted Calls: A Step-by-Step Guide

Blocking unwanted calls is essential to maintain efficiency and focus. This guide illustrates how you can easily block specific numbers from reaching your extension using Bluecloud's platform. Follow these steps to configure your extension's call blocking settings.

Step 1: Access Answering Rules

Login to your BlueCloud account. On the dashboard, find and click on the “Answering Rules” section.


Step 2: Navigate to Allow/Block Settings

Within the Answering Rules section, locate and click on the “Allow/Block” option.

Step 3: Add Numbers to Block List

In the pop-up window, enter the 10-digit phone number you wish to block. Make sure to enter only numerical digits without dashes, spaces, or parentheses. After entering the number, click on the "+" button to add it to your blocked numbers list.

Option: You have the choice to block unknown or anonymous numbers. To enable this, check the box labeled “Disallow any unknown or anonymous numbers from reaching you.”

Step 4: Save Your Settings

After you've added all the numbers you want to block, click “Done” to save your settings.

And there you have it! You’ve successfully configured your extension to block unwanted calls. This will help you stay productive by reducing disruptions and ensuring that only essential calls reach your extension.
